Last evening I went for a short run at Lake Harriet. With the onset of autumn running at the lakes isn't all that fun. There aren't as many other runners and certainly no sunbathers.
I wore running pants, a soft shell jacket and a cap. The temperature was 55 degrees, there was a heavy cloud cover, it was dusk and there was just a hint of mist in the air. Most of the other runners wore long sleeve tops. Some had running pants or yoga pants, a few wore shorts.
And of course there was one guy running in short shorts and no shirt. Such an athlete he must be. He was followed by the guy running barefoot on a paved path.
I just don't get it.
